Coast Community Care

We want to take Jesus' words seriously and make a difference in people's lives, both in our community and in the world around us.

We desire to serve our local community in practical ways, so that people will recognise the love that God has for every person. Our church values people. We want to see people's lives transformed by the good news of God's love.

There are numerous opportunities for you to be involved in serving your local community through the ministries of our local charity Coast Community Care. You can also give tax deductible donations to the charity to support these ministries. If you choose to do this please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Projects Include…

Christmas Hampers

Making Christmas special for over 100 local families, by providing a special hamper valued at over $100. Every November we offer Hamper Certificates for $60 that can be purchased by individuals or families to pay for one hamper.

Ground Force

Most Saturdays our Ground Force Team heads out across the Central Coast. Big muscles and willing hearts lend a hand in practical ways, including: yard work, cleanup jobs, simple maintenance and moving house. Mostly we serve single parents and the elderly.

Donnison Street Restaurant (Soup Kitchen)

Every Thursday evening we provide healthy meals to people in our community who are in a situation of homelessness, great difficulty, or distress. If you would like to serve with a team please contact the church office.

CAP Debt Counseling Service

Our church partners with Christians Against Poverty (CAP) to provide a debt counseling service, which operates 3 days per week, to those feeling the effects of financial stress due to growing and unresolved levels of debt.  To find out more about this service please contact the CAP Helpline on 1300 227 0500 or go to www.capaust.org for more information. A representative from our church may then be in touch with you to personally discuss your situation.

We also regularly run a CAP Money course which is designed to help provide better financial management through tested budgeting techniques.  Contact the church for more information about the next course or regularly check the 'Coming Up' section of this website for those dates.

Short Term Overseas Mission Trip

At Coast Community we believe one of the ways that your faith will grow is by stretching your faith. One of the best ways to stretch your faith is by joining a short term overseas mission trip. Most years we will have an opportunity for you to join a short term Mission Trip so keep a look out on the ‘Coming Up' section of our Website.
